Purchased DVDs, Video movies and games are sent anywhere in New Zealand via CourierPost Couriers, or NZ Post, who pride themselves on reliable and consistent delivery. The Courierpost Group policy is to obtain a signature (Proof of Delivery) on all consignments. The signatory may not necessarily be the person that the shipment is addressed to, so please be sure that the delivery address is to a trusted address. If a signatory is not available at time of delivery, a card will be left in your letterbox. Please visit www.courierpost.co.nz for further information or to track your order in New Zealand.
All couriered DVD movies carry a charge of $5.00 on the 1st unit and approximately $1 per unit there after unless its a large box set that doesent fit into the normal courier package, in which case we will advise of any increase in shipping fee.
All Rural delivery addresses in New Zealand will have an extra $2.50 added to the order when we process your Payment.
If you have not heard from us at DVD Video or you have not received your product/s within 7 working days, please contact us immediately. All parcels are bar-coded for fast and accurate tracking should the need arise. Please allow at least 3-5 working days for delivery in main centres and slightly more for rural..

SHIPPING OUTSIDE New Zealand:
The majority of products sold by DVD Video can be shipped outside of New Zealand for personal use only.
We ship to Australia, United States, United Kingdom, Ireland, and some European countires ie. Germany and France only.
We do not accept orders from outside the above. However if it is an order for delivery as a gift within NZ that is acceptable providing funds are transferred to our bank account. The reason being that far to many fraud cases have occurred to these areas and we have a nill tolerance on fraud.
DVD Regions: Region 4 DVDs will only work with Region 4 compatible DVD players. Please see our detailed regional coding explanation for more information. DVDs listed on dvdvideo.co.nz are all for Region 4 compatible DVD Players, unless otherwise specified. Dvdvideo.co.nz does not supply sell DVDs compatible with other Region DVD Players.
Order Limits: We reserve the right to limit the quantity of items shipped internationally for first time orders. If this is the case we will notify you via email or telephone.
Customs: Customers are responsible for paying any duties, customs charges, or tariffs on products shipped to them. Customs declarations will indicate the full value of the order in NZ dollars.
Legality: Customers are responsible for ensuring the products that they order are legal for use in that country.

All items purchased from DVD Video.co.nz are covered by the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This means that if any DVD you receive is faulty, simply return it to us with details of the fault and we will happily exchange it for you with another copy freight free. If this title is no longer available or we are out of stock for 10 days, we will give you the option of:
i) waiting for the title to come back into stock after we have advised you of the expected delivery time.
ii) choosing another title to the same value.
iii) receiving a store credit to the same value.
iv) receiving a full refund to the same value.
Please e-mail us with notification of what you are returning and we will respond to you immediately with instructions (you will require a Return Authority Number). All of our DVDs are region 4 coding on the web site, so please check that your DVD player is compatible with region 4 DVD that you are purchasing. We are unable to accept returns if you purchase a DVD that is not compatible with your DVD players region coding.
Faulty Returns Policy:
Should you be unlucky to receive a faulty or damaged item or disc, please e-mail or contact us by telephone on 03-355 5557. We will make arrangements to send you a replacement for your faulty DVD promptly (New Zealand only). All faulty discs must be reported to us within 7 Days of receiving your package.
*International orders: Please contact us within 7 days of receiving your package via email for instructions on replacement of faulty DVDs and videos . We will respond to your email promptly.
Damaged Goods Policy:
Should you be unlucky to receive your order and damage has been done to the package contents, video or disc, please contact the courier company that delivered the package with the tracking number of you parcel located near the barcode on the courier bag -
In most cases this will be Courierpost if goods are sent by courier - ph 0800 268 7437 .
Please note - We are not responsible for items once they have left our building, that is the responsibility of the courier company or postal service that were given the responsibility of transporting your goods and you need to make arrangements to get your claim investigated and goods replaced at the cost of the courier company (New Zealand only). Please notify us of All damaged goods or discs within 7 Days of receiving your package so we can assist you in your claim.
